About Me
My name is Tamara, and I am a Spatial and Interior Design graduate.
I’m drawn to designing virtual environments where reality and imagination begin to overlap, creating spaces that feel believable, yet slightly out of reach.
I enjoy building atmosphere through lighting, materiality, and spatial composition, shaping environments that combine the familiar with the surreal or whimsical. For me, design goes beyond appearance; it’s about how a space feels, the mood it holds, and the subtle stories it can communicate.
I aim to create narrative-driven experiences for public audiences, crafting otherworldly spaces that encourage curiosity, interpretation, and emotional connection.
My Process
Sketching
I begin my design process through sketching, using quick drawings to explore ideas and visualise spatial possibilities.
Diagrams
From these sketches, I develop diagrams to organise structure, movement, and relationships within my designs, allowing me to visually see how elements will function and communicate within the space.
Collages
Collages help me to explore atmosphere, materiality, and visual identity. By combining textures, colours, and imagery, I begin to shape the emotional and experiential qualities of the design.
Model Making
Finally, I create models both digitally and physically. These allow me to test form, scale, and spatial interaction within both physical and virtual environments.
